Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 4 additional years of hospital based surgical, medical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. McCann manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. McCann practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. He can also diagnose and treat some forms of facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of dental implant procedures.
Dr. McCann's staff includes registered nurses who are trained in assisting with I.V. sedation and general anesthesia within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. It is our intention to provide your surgical care in a safe, comfortable and compassionate setting.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Dr. McCanns is experienced, well trained registered nurses and certified dental assistants. Their role is to make your surgical experience in our office both safe and comfortable. They provide assistance during your surgery and anesthesia, and will ensure that you have recovered sufficiently from you anesthesia before you are discharged. Our administrative staff members are well informed regarding administrative issues, are well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
