What To Focus On After Your Procedure.
Our surgical team and Registered Nurses provide post-operative instructions specific to your procedure before you leave the office. Use the guidance below as a helpful recovery overview, and call us if anything feels unclear or unusual.
Bleeding
A small amount of bleeding or redness in saliva can be expected. Use firm gauze pressure as instructed.
Swelling
Swelling is common after surgery. Use cold packs during the early recovery period if provided by the office.
Medication
Take prescription or over-the-counter medication only as reviewed by the surgical team or nursing staff.
Eating & Drinking
Start with fluids and soft foods. Avoid hot liquids or foods until you are comfortable and alert.
Activity
Rest after your appointment. Avoid strenuous activity, driving, or important decisions after sedation.
When to Call
Call the office if pain, bleeding, fever, swelling, or any recovery concern feels unusual.
